Saneh Ste.Claire

Saneh Ste. Claire serves as the Challenge 2050 Graduate Assistant for Internal Affairs by establishing and fostering internal university partnerships through programmatic efforts. Saneh is pursuing a master’s degree of Leadership in Agricultural Education and Communication. More specifically, she is studying the philosophy, theory, and application of leadership in sustainability. In a nutshell she is a big picture thinker whose passions lie in motivational leadership, health, and growing a better world one person at a time. As a member of the University of Florida Hall of Fame, Saneh dedicated her undergraduate career to service through various organizations such as the Florida Cicerones, UF Preview Staff, Reitz Scholars, UF Student Government, and UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital. Her honors thesis focused on students’ perceptions of women in leadership roles, shedding light on the socialized attitudes and biases that exist in the context of gender and leadership. This past summer she spent her time backpacking in Europe as well as attending a 10-day geopolitical alliance program in Israel alongside 45 other Gators. Outside the academic sphere, Saneh is a group fitness instructor and also works in the personal training department as a Wellness Appraiser for UF RecSports. She has a 17-year-old parrot that she has raised and trained since she was 6. She is dedicated to inspiring plant-based diets, women empowerment, and local farming. Her favorite quote is “when we show up authentic we create a place for others to do the same. Walk in your truth.”
