Taylor Chaisson

Taylor Chaisson is native to Clearwater, Florida and is working as a Large Seed intern in Nampa, Idaho this summer. She just completed her fourth year at UF with a major in Agriculture Operations Management. Upon graduation she will also have completed a minor in International Development and Humanitarian Assistance and a certificate in Global Leadership and Change. Taylor came to college wanting to study sustainable energy but found a passion for sustainable agriculture while traveling to a remote village in Nepal with Engineers Without Borders. Taking Challenge 2050 courses helped to develop her interests in food systems and food security while courses in her major taught her the importance of efficiency and process improvement. She believes that creating a more efficient and sustainable food system will be essential to feed our growing world population for years to come.

Taylor enjoys cooking, hiking, and planning her next adventure. Since starting college, she has traveled to eleven countries across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and South America. Taylor loves meeting new people, exploring new places, and trying new foods. She is excited to have found such a globally minded company in HM.Clause and she looks forward to working with them in Supply Chain and Production this summer.
